Brett Redd – CEO
Prior to WeXL, Brett founded and managed Intermountain Development and Investment, Inc., a land development and investment company. Prior to this, Brett built and operated one of the largest security marketing organizations in the country. Brett served as the COO and CFO for this multi-million dollar enterprise, which provided home security solutions to families across America. Brett developed his passion for WeXL while teaching college and high school students about personal financial literacy. He currently serves as the Utah County Chairman for the Jumpstart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy and has a passion for educating youth. He has a BS degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance. Brett currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and a Director for WeXL.
Cory Weaver – President
Cory has spent the last 12 years involved in nearly every stage of business development, from early stage ventures to an established billion dollar company. Prior to starting WeXL, Cory was co-founder of the software company AxisPointe, one of the largest post construction service providers of its kind. During his tenure at the company, Cory served as Director and Vice President of Business Development and was instrumental in securing important strategic relationships and clientele for the company. Nearly 6 years ago, Cory helped start a debt management business which became one of the first companies to introduce the “Offset Mortgage” concept to the United States. That company was sold 6 years ago. Cory graduated with degrees in business and psychology from Brigham Young University in 1995. Cory currently serves as the President and Chairman of the Board for WeXL.
Kent Jensen - CFO
Kent brings 20 years of financial accounting experience and has broad-based operational and financial management skills with a proven track record of leadership. Prior to WeXL, Kent spent the last 5 years as a CFO for hire helping businesses with their tax and financial needs. Kent has a long track record as a CFO with privately held companies ranging from a start-up chemical manufacturer to a $70 million distribution company. Kent holds a Masters of Professional Accountancy degree from Weber State University as well as an Oregon Certified Public Accounting-retired and Certified Managerial Accounting Certificates. Kent resides in the Portland, Oregon area with his wife, Linda, and their two daughters, Jessica and Anna. Kent currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for WeXL.
Blake Reynolds – V.P. of Business Devlopment
Blake’s professional portfolio includes 20 years of management experience. He began his career in 1987 as a full time student at BYU, working his way through school as a sales representative for United Compucred Collections, a large national collection agency based in Cincinnati, Ohio. After two years with United Compucred, Blake was promoted first to District Sales Manager and then shortly thereafter to Regional Sales Manager. Shortly thereafter Blake started Cache Quest Systems. Over the next 12 years Blake built the company to a point where it was the fourth largest “flat-fee” collection agency in the U.S. with over 100 sales representatives and nearly 5,000 clients with a portfolio of over $200,000,000 in collectable accounts receivables. In 2002, Blake sold his interest in Cache Quest System. Blake is the founder and creator of WeXL’s HOPE System and is responsible for modeling WeXL’s business-to-business strategy. Blake currently serves the company as Vice President of Business Development for WeXL.
Keith Jacobson, V. P. Insurance Operations
Prior to founding WeXL, Keith served in various roles in financial services, direct sales, and business consulting. While working in these industries he developed an extensive background in marketing, financial consulting, and estate engineering. Early in his career, Keith served as Global Web Marketing Manager at a billion dollar nutraceuticals company. Keith transitioned to the world of financial planning, and as a financial advisor, he worked with the Cambridge Financial Group and is a founding partner of Links Consulting, which continues to serve the financial needs of high net-worth families throughout the U.S..
Keith studied Business Management in his graduate studies. Keith currently serves as Vice President of Insurance Operations and oversees strategy and operations for the insurance division of WeXL.
